The cycle-by-cycle query as to whether you want to get pregnant or not is part of the symptothermal method and therefore scientifically necessary. A permanent setting would certainly be less cumbersome (yes, you're absolutely right and sometimes we roll our eyes, too), but it's much less precise because it's easy to forget to adjust the setting. And precision is essential, especially for a contraceptive, which is why we're nagging a bit at this point. Thank you for your understanding!
